Good Quarrels, Productive Arguments

ATTENTION: The following post was not written to;

-convince parents to go easier on their kids
-make youths think that they have a right to act as they please and get away with it

It was written however, in the hopes that it will shed some light on certain things, and there will be a decrease in the number of High Blood Pressure patients......and also I'm just blogging about my opinions.

Okay. So here it is.

I honestly think that quarrels between youths and their parents are good.

No I'm not off my rocker, and I haven't lost any marbles.

I think youths quarreling/arguing with their parents is not only good, but it's a necessity.
I think so, because..well, it helps build character.
They start forming opinions, and it's a process of self-discovery.

Parents, it is GOOD NEWS when your child argues with you.
Well, at least you know your child's got a promising future because he/she has got strong opinions and ideas. And if he/she argues well, a promising future as a lawyer, perhaps? :)

Well, my point is, it should be looked at in a positive way.
Not "Oh you're so impossible, you're rude, you're <> and you're <> ", you know?
Don't get me wrong, fight back, because we need it. If you're gonna succumb to our nonsense then who are we to hone our skills with?
Because at the end of the day, isn't everything a learning process for everyone?

Having said all that, though, here's another thought.
When these arguments and quarrels happen...inevitably, a wall is put up..
There is a barrier between both parties.
Yeah it's hurtful, bla bla.
But really...I think in the long run, that's a good thing.
Because I actually think it helps parents sort of... let go of their children. You get where I'm getting at?
No matter how much you deny it, the time WILL come for you to let go of your children.
Its all part of life, isn't it.
This is just nature's way of teaching both parent and child that there will come a time to let go, and you need some sort of practice before you actually do it.

I'm not saying it's natures only way. I'm saying it is ONE of nature's ways.
Not everyone would need such things to prepare them for what's coming.
Just like how not everyone needs sex to feel complete.

I just think that people should start looking at the bigger picture more often instead of complaining so much that their healths are affected.

:)

My brain's a little tired from all the thinking haha, so I'm just gonna go, argue with my dad for a bit, then head off to bed.

Just A Pinch ,
I'd like to live on an island. Where the sands are golden and the water turquoise. Where the sun is my friend and the moon my guardian. Where I am only with the people I love and people who love me. Where music is the only source of oxygen. Where I can do just about ANYTHING and nobody would give a fuck. Where unnecessary, materialistic things are just that. unnecessary and materialistic. Where money doesn't exist because we don't need it. Where the air is clean and the sky always blue. Where the only sources of light at night are from fire-flies and the stars above. Where I have everything i want. Where laughter never fades away. Where illnesses are non-existent. Where there is one race, one religion. Where there is no heaven and hell. Where I can sit around and have conversations with God. Where I can sit around and have conversations with myself. Where people are not afraid to say "I love you" and mean it ♥ Where nothing really matters. I'm a dreamer. So sue me.
